Tom Gordon

Since 1986, Tom has coached and trained teams, groups, and individuals at all ages and abilities, for both competitive sports and general fitness. He currently coaches the Team Fitness community programs in Los Altos and Menlo Park. He also has coached over 1,500 executives at leadership development programs for Cisco Systems, Silicon Graphics and a number of other Bay area corporations.

Mike Deussen

Mike joined Team Fitness in Spring 1998, after being introduced to it at an SGI leadership event. Always an early riser, Mike found the program to be the perfect mix of fun, teamwork, and sweat—Team Fitness allows Mike to push himself as hard as he wishes. After participating for five years and serving as a fill-in coach on occasion, Mike took the plunge in 2003 and became a full fledged coach.

Chad Ontiveros

Chad has been coaching at Team Fitness since 2000. He competed locally in football, basketball, and soccer, and began building his athletic and professional credentials as a certified personal trainer for 24 Hour Fitness and as a health and fitness coach for Menlo Health for Life.

Glenn joined the Team Fitness staff in early Spring 2004. For the past several years, he has coached basketball at The King’s Academy in Sunnyvale and currently is an assistant coach for their Varsity Men’s team.

Mike Mulcahy

Mike Mulcahy began coaching for Team Fitness in 2003. He originally joined as a member, saying, “The treadmills at the local gym just didn’t interest me.” He found the variety, intensity, camaraderie, and fun at each Team Fitness class to be just the right combination to keep him looking forward to his next workout. After a few months and losing over 40 pounds, he just couldn’t resist the chance to coach.
