Tom Gordon

Over the past 15 years, Tom has coached and trained teams, groups, and individuals at all levels of ability and ages, for both competitive sports and general fitness. He currently coaches the Team Fitness community program in Sunnyvale, California, as well as, the organizational fitness components of many of the executive leadership development programs for Cisco Systems. He has also run similar programs at Silicon Graphics and a number of other Bay area corporations.

A three sport athlete in high school in southern California, Tom was recruited to play baseball at Stanford University, but ended up competing on football, basketball, and rugby teams. In 1977, the Stanford University rugby team was the top all-collegiate team at the Monterey National Tournament.

Tom graduated as a civil engineer from Stanford, and became president of Traditional Homes, Inc., a custom home construction company, building projects in the mid-peninsula area between San Francisco and San Jose. After nearly 21 years, he sold the company in January, 1999, to become a full time member of the Team Fitness team.

In January of 2002, Tom became president and co-owner of Team Fitness.

Tom serves as a director on the board of CBC, a local Christian counseling group. He has been married to his wife Lorry for 26 years, and has four children, three in college and one in high school. He also currently coaches the varsity girl’s fast- pitch softball team at The King’s Academy and has several former players playing at the collegiate level.
